Meet Jessica Chacon.
Jessica is a Trauma-Informed Psychotherapist, AcuDetox Specialist, & Certified Trauma Informed Yoga Nidra Facilitator.
She is the founder/owner of Sweetgrass Therapeutics-a counseling, yoga & wellness studio in Alamosa where she weaves together evidenced-based modalities, ancient eastern practices and the wisdom of nature to support clients and her community in remembering their wholeness..
Meet Laurel Carter.
Laurel Carter is a Licensed Psychotherapist (HAES, Weight Inclusive), Provides Gong Sound Healing, is an Acudetox Specialist and is a Certified Trauma Informed Yoga Nidra Facilitator.
She is the owner of Two Sandhills Healing; a private practice that facilitates trauma-informed mental health offerings through psychotherapy, yoga and meditation using somatic and action-oriented therapies with the intention to cultivate a connection to, and a remembrance of, each person’s true nature as perfect, complete, and whole just as they are.
Meet Kalindi Hoffmann.
Kalindi is an accomplished Mindfulness Expert and Certified Trauma Informed Yoga Nidra Facilitator. She passionately guides others into the heart of authentic yoga – the art of healing and Self-discovery. A 7-year stay at an ashram radically changed the way she perceives herself, others, and the world.
She teaches nationally and internationally sharing her passion and wisdom of yogic principles and contemplative practices inviting you to awaken to the deeper meaning of life. Kalindi is an inspiring force reaching the hearts of diverse audiences. She has a degree in Childhood Education and Development, and holds an E-RYT-500 certification from Yoga Alliance.
Meet Sean Toomey.
Sean Toomey is an 11 year Firefighter with the Denver Fire Department and also serves as the Operations Captain with Clear Creek Fire. He co-founded the internationally taught health and wellness First Responder Sleep Recovery program. He proudly is a Certified Trauma Informed Yoga Nidra Facilitator.
Sean received two undergraduate bachelor degrees from Colorado State University: Fire & Emergency Service Administration (BS) and English Education (BA). He instructs fire science and first responder health and wellness classes across the US and Canada.
Meet Jacqueline Toomey.
Jacqueline Toomey began teaching yoga in 2004 . She co-founded the internationally taught health and wellness First Responder Sleep Recovery program, co-founded the non-profit Restoring the Rescuer to support responders struggling with PTSD, and developed the accessibility based approach for Trauma Informed Yoga Nidra.
Jacqueline received her undergraduate bachelor degree from Regis University and completed Master’s Level Coursework at Metropolitan State University. She also studied holistic nutrition and has received close to 1,000 hours of Yoga Alliance Teaching Certifications.
